M3 Funds, LLC

M3 Funds is an investment management firm focused on the United States bank and thrift sector.

At present, there are more than 1,300 publicly traded bank and thrifts in the United States. M3 Funds, LLC ("M3") believes that by focusing exclusively on these companies, many attractive investment opportunities exist that are either under-followed or misunderstood by the traditional investment community. Furthermore, it is the belief of M3 that many of the approximately 5,500 private banks, 700 mutual banks, and 7,900 credit unions will at some point convert to public form via demutualization or public offering, providing significant opportunity to investors who understand the dynamics and management teams of these evolving organizations. In addition, consolidation has consistently been a key driver for the United States bank and thrift sector. From 1995 to present there have been approximately 4,200 mergers. M3 believes that consolidation will continue to be a profitable catalyst for the bank and thrift sector and that the growing pipeline of credit union and bank demutualizations will provide a steady supply of potential investment opportunities. By utilizing its managing members’ extensive experience and valuable industry contacts, M3 is well positioned to take advantage of investment opportunities in the financial services sector.
